Frost Produkt participated in the development of Automated Recycling Centre for Tomra.
ARC is a fully automated recycling facility located on 130 Tesco Super Stores in the UK. The recycling center sorts and compresses the glass, plastic, aluminum and
steel. The Centre recognizes when the collected material is ready for retrieval and sends
SMS to the operator.
Frost Produkt stood for the design of the housing for the technology, which roughly consisted of an advanced framework and cladding. The product had strict requirements for rapid assembly, noise reduction, vandal-resistant, weatherproof and environment. Efficient design and smart solutions made it possible for the center to be installed and operational within two working days.
Frost Produkt has also developed a simpler version on the southern European market.
